INTEGRATED ATPL(H) IR COURSE

The Integrated ATPL(H) IR Course represents the highest qualification in European aviation, designed to train pilots to the level of proficiency required to operate single-engine, multi-engine, and multi-pilot helicopters and to fly under instrument flight rules (IFR).

At Coptering, students gain direct access to this advanced standard without any intermediate steps, optimizing their time, training, and career opportunities.

The program combines theoretical and practical training in a coordinated manner, so that each phase of learning is reinforced by experience in the cockpit and in the simulator.

Theory classes are held in our classrooms at Sabadell Airport. Flight training also takes place in Sabadell, using state-of-the-art Cabri G2 helicopters and an AS355N twin-engine helicopter certified for instrument flight, ensuring safe, comprehensive training that meets real-world operational requirements.

In addition, the course includes training on the H-135 FNPT II simulator for MCC, IR, and PBN, which is ideal for practicing procedures and emergency responses with precision and a high level of realism.

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or pass the academic placement tests administered by the school.
  • Hold a valid Class I medical certificate.

750 hours of classroom classroom instruction in our classrooms at Sabadell Airport.

122 flight hours in a Cabri G2 helicopter

18 flight hours + 2 exam hours in an AS355N helicopter

55 hours in a simulator

The course lasts approximately 20 months, depending on the session schedule and the student’s commitment.

Upon successful completion of the course and passing the corresponding exams, the student will obtain:

  • CPL in license.
  • Theoretical ATPL frozen.
  • AS355N twin-turbine capability.
  • MCC (Multi Crew Cooperation) certificate.
